DFDS is currently expanding its business intelligence platform and our number of offerings to the business to support our common strategy of improving decision making through data. We are creating a foundation to turn data into knowledge, and we need your help.
You will play an important part in designing and implementing our platform and solutions, which covers many different business areas incl. logistics, freight shipping, port terminals, finance, procurement, passenger travelling, ship management, HR, retail, and customer insights. We cooperate with the different business areas to support the company’s strategy by working with data to drive performance and change behavior in the right direction.
You will be placed at our headquarters in Nordhavn (Copenhagen) and be part of a team of 16 experienced, dedicated and talented colleagues in our Business Intelligence department.
Our BI platform is primarily based on Microsoft (SQL 2016, SSIS/SSAS/SSRS, MDS) and Tableau.
Profile
We are looking for a BI developer who is curious and interested in learning and who can help DFDS to modernize and build a robust data platform fit for the future. You should be analytical and an excellent communicator.

Profile
We are looking for a BI developer who is curious and interested in learning and who can help DFDS to modernize and build a robust data platform fit for the future. You should be analytical and an excellent communicator.
We expect you to:
- Have a strong ability to understand complex data structures and the transformation of data from the source systems into the BI environments (ETL).
- Have exceptional SQL programming skills.
- Have experience with the Microsoft BI platform (SSIS/SSAS).
- Experience with master data, cloud platforms, live data, semi-/unstructured data will be considered a plus.
- Enjoy working in an agile and dynamic environment.
- Be good at communicating with internal stakeholders.
- Speak and write English fluently.
