ASSOCIATE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT PARTNER:

At AGC Biologics, we are expanding our business and growing rapidly due to an increased market demand of our services. In order to meet the opportunities in the market, we are expanding our Business Development Operations team once again and are looking for an individual who is structured and has a special skill within proposal writing.

As Associate Business Development Partner, you will transform customer Request for Proposals (RFP) into technically accurate, winning proposals and be very involved during the sales process by providing technical/operational expertise. You will interact intensively with both business development, technical colleagues and senior management and will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILIES:

  • Create winning proposals to drive revenue, growth and profitability
  • Evaluate RFP’s to determine the appropriate project scope and requirements
  • Analyze and understand client requirements, producing comprehensive, technically accurate, properly formatted and persuasive proposals
  • Work closely with the technical teams to obtain information needed to respond to RFP’s
  • Participate in the pricing strategy; draft proposal pricing
  • Participate in customer on-site meetings and conference calls
  • Support sales data tracking and analysis

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to clearly communicate and work effectively in cross-functional teams across several locations
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated passion for producing high-quality work


EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • University degree (MSc or BSc) in Biotech, Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field
  • 1 - 3 years’ experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, CDMO space or Life Sciences space and you have a general understand of drug development
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, including MS Project (for creation of Gantt charts) required
  • Experience with Salesforce is highly desired
