Vestas CEO Group Staff Functions (CEO) Corporate Strategy
The Corporate Strategy department works closely with Vestas’ executive management to drive, define and execute Vestas’ strategic development initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Group Senior Vice President (GSVP) of Corporate Strategy, M&A, Global Intelligence and Corporate Planning you will impact Vestas’ future competitiveness by using your skills, business acumen and sharp mind to select and analyse the critical strategic topics, and efficiently manage important strategic projects defined by our CEO, Executive Management and/or SVP of Corporate Strategy.
This includes development of strategic / growth initiatives, staff work along the project value chain from foundational analysis to input generation, sign-off, presentation and working with line managers to craft implementation plans.

Responsibilities
- Identify the most critical strategic topics and analyse these from a portfolio perspective to ensure that we expand our edge vs. competition
- Manage projects defined by CEO and Executive management
- Co-drive preparation and execution of key discussions in the corporate strategy cycle (i.e. annual Executive and Board strategy, Executive Leadership Team). This includes preparation of themes, alignment on agenda etc
- Manage interface, seek alignment with, and support Vestas' innovation team around strategy, focus areas, target identification, due diligence processes etc
- Contribute to ad-hoc critical topics, insights, analyses and discussions in collaboration with M&A, Corporate Planning and Global Intelligence
- Collaborate and interact with a broad variety of external and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- Preferably +5 years of experience from a top-tier management consultancy, specialty consulting and/or large in-house consulting, working with all aspects of strategy analysis and development, driving agendas and projects, advising clients/executive management
- Demonstrated in-depth understanding of the industry’s complexity from a financial, competitive, commercial, technological and regulatory perspective
- Experience from working in a complex, international corporate culture
- Relevant business or financial education at Master level
- Fluent in English orally and in writing. Other languages will be an advantage

- Superior ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Pragmatic and capable of actively driving problem solving and communication with limited support
- Flexible and collaborative mind-set with the ability to form and manage winning "ad-hoc" team structures within the function and in collaboration with external advisors
- High drive and self-motivation combined with high ethical and compliance standards
- Proven stakeholder management skills and power to influence and challenge both internally and externally
- Empathetic with strong interpersonal skills, culture affinity and an open, straightforward, and unpretentious style
