Sales Global Sales & Key Account Management CSO Management Office
Working under the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) organisation, the mission of the Global Sales function is to provide commercial support to Vestas' sales teams on a global basis, whilst at the same time ensuring that overall commercial objectives are being met.

Our dedicated and energetic department contributes to Vestas’ commercial success in a dynamic environment. We work closely with the regional Sales Business Units (SBUs) responsible for originating, negotiating and closing turbine sales across the globe, as well as with various global functions of Vestas.

As Commercial Analyst you will join a high performing team, and your analyses will contribute to making informed business-critical decisions. Through value engineering and engagement with your stakeholders you will drive continuous commercial optimisation to ensure that Vestas stay ahead of competition in a profitable and customer-focused way.

Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will be to cover three areas: sales pipeline forecast and analysis, sales engagement and strategic commercial analyses. More specifically, your tasks will be to:

  • Perform continuous sales analyses in close cooperation with the sales teams, including forecasts, risk assessments and preparation of key sales metrics
  • Implement and follow-up on commercial, financial and operational guidance from the global sales function towards the sales teams
  • Be key contact person towards the sales teams regarding commercial strategy, specific deal support as well as guiding through governance and approval processes
  • Be a sparring partner to the sales teams in terms of commercial and financial analyses
  • Drive commercial optimisation together with the sales teams by applying value engineering levers to improve competitiveness and profitability of projects
  • Prepare strategic analyses, such as competitiveness benchmarking or cost tracking

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in business administration and/or engineering, top performer in class
  • 2-3 years of professional experience preferably from an international company
  • Exposure to a commercial area, either directly or indirectly is expected
  • Solid knowledge of financial modelling and key commercial analysis
  • Fluency in written and verbal English
  • Excellent Excel skills and preferably SAP experience
