You will join our Major Crossings division

As our new Business Development manager, you will be part of the management team for the Major Crossings division. We’re a division of app. 200 staff across 4 countries. We work in most parts of the world, but our current focus is Europe, North America and South East Asia. Your job will be to develop our business further by strengthening our relationships with clients and to build and implement business cases for new markets and services.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Leading the Sales and Business Development team
  • Responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with selected key clients and strategic partner organisations
  • Account Management of selected key clients
  • Drive strategic selling, securing business opportunities for the division
  • Responsible for market sector intelligence and identifying new leads internationally
  • Liaise with Ramboll’s sales organisations in the Nordic Countries, UK, Germany and Asia
  • Contribute to the development of strategic plans for the division
  • Initiate, develop and collaborate with internal and external networks to enhance Ramboll’s consulting reputation
  • Ensure compliance with Ramboll’s Governance Principals

You will report to the Global Division Director, who is based in our Copenhagen office. Your base will either be the Ramboll Head Office in Copenhagen or Southampton, UK, which are the hubs for our international work. Since the job will require a significant amount of travel, your home doesn’t have to be close to either of the cities but your presence in the office will be required on a regular basis.

Personal qualities that will help you succeed in this role include: An excellent ability to motivate, lead and develop others, excellent English language skills (written and verbal). Able to work well with minimal supervision, possess relevant strong client relations and can work with people with different cultural background.
