About this opportunity
Welcome to the Platform Analysis Middle Office team. We add value by providing great people primarily working as IT analysts to different execution structures focused on Banking and Institutional Technology(BIT) and in this case the Counterparty Credit Risk area. As a Senior IT analyst, you’ll play a valuable role in defining business and IT requirements and aligning our IT solutions to these requirements, applying Nordea standards and frameworks in a mindful way. At the same time we see that you will build your competence as a Senior IT analyst in general.
What you’ll be doing:
- Collaborate with business owners and stakeholders to refine, define and analyse business requirements related to Counterparty Credit Risk.
- Collaborate and learn from our existing business analysts and IT analysts working in the area.
- Work closely with developers to ensure the delivery of high quality IT solutions.
- Support other parts of the project like testing and operations.
You will join a team of highly skilled subject matter experts in a fun and safe environment where people are key. If you are not already an expert in Counterparty Credit Risk you will become one for sure, with the opportunity to make a positive impact on our customers and our society by enabling Nordea to better manage our Counterparty Credit Risk.

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
- Are based in Copenhagen or Gdansk.
- Have excellent communication and agile collaboration skills.
- Are creative, curious, proactive, structured and solution-oriented.
- Know SQL/databases and has some coding background in primarily Java.
- Have some knowledge in Linux and Windows
Your experience and background:
- A relevant university degree (Engineering, data science, mathematics, economics or similar)
- 5 years’ experience working in or with IT development projects close to business stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and experience working with diverse teams
- Competence in agile ways of working.
- SQL and/or Java coding experience.
- Experience with the Counterparty Credit Risk area is a plus.
- Experience in financial instruments (derivatives).
