We are looking for one or two energetic and committed persons with documented experience in forming and supporting global partnerships and consortia and managing projects from A-Z.
The Consortium Project Managers (CPM) will ensure quality programme implementation, including providing strategic guidance to consortium staff and being responsible for budget management, M&E, partnership management, and relationships with external actors, including government authorities, relevant working groups, and project partners.
They will be responsible for maintaining regular contact with all consortium partners, DCA country offices, donors, acting as lead focal point for the project’s various governance bodies (steering committee, technical working group and others), and supervising programming quality and accountability to target populations and taking the lead on all external partners' engagement. You will coordinate closely with technical teams in DCA on quality assurance of the projects.
You will become part of a dynamic and well-functioning team with well-developed procedures to support project cycles. Further, you are expected to work with a large degree of autonomy. Travels abroad is to be expected.

Provide leadership for the effective and efficient management of the project, in accordance with DCA organisational and donor requirements.
Ensure that joint planning, budgeting, and reporting are conducted promptly and to quality.
Identify areas where additional inputs are needed to ensure high quality programming, ensuring that relevant technical expertise and capacity strengthening support is available to staff and partners.
Ensure an overall monitoring and evaluation plan is in place for the programme and implemented.
Be responsible for nurturing and maintaining a robust, honest, and transparent relationship with project partners, ensuring the project's partnerships are managed in line with DCA's partnership approach.
Lead in the identification of project risks and proactively work with partners to mitigate risk factors against partnership and project delivery plans.
Chair the meetings of the project steering committee and ensure that action points agreed during the meetings are followed through.
With support from the colleagues in finance, have overall oversight and responsibility for financial management of the project.
Coordinate the collation of narrative reporting to donors, including coordinating reporting by staff and partners and consolidating overall reports.
With support from colleagues in DCA MEAL team, partners and country offices, establish, review and improve adequate MEAL systems to gather programmatic evidence and learning, designed to maximise DCA's and partners understanding of project impact and barriers to delivery, and to inform course correction.
Work with MEL Advisors and Consortium members on the analysis of data, reporting, learning and sharing.
Review relevant reports, including evaluation reports, partner narrative reports, and other internal and external resources as necessary to inform project delivery.
Represent DCA and consortium partners in external meetings and provide feedback on issues that need further attention.
Represent DCA in donor meetings.
Experience and qualifications:

Demonstrable experience in managing complex, regional and/or global projects at scale preferably EU funded. Experience from working on the implementation of projects finances by institutional donors (DG ECHO and/or INTPA) is a key ask from our side.
Master's Degree in fields relevant to DCA’s gender and/or localisation ambitions.
Experience from work in different capacities with local and international NGOs.
Experience and progressive management of consortium and project management throughout the core project milestones.
Experience in providing mentoring and support to a range of actors and documented experience with multistakeholder management.
Understanding of financial management procedures, budget monitoring, and donor reporting.
Sound knowledge of civil society dynamics and their role.
Demonstrable experience in working with partners in sustainable ways that reflect power-sharing, accompaniment and mutual respect.

Two-year contracts staring 1st January 2025. Possibility for extension.
Salary based on DanChurchAid´s collective agreement, an attractive pension and insurance scheme.
37 hours/week, incl. lunch.
