The department of Clinical Immunogenicity Analysis is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Immunogenicity Scientist to be responsible for assessment of immunogenicity in clinical human trials as well as non-clinical animal studies. Experience with bioanalysis and/or biomarker assessment is appreciated but not required. Do you see yourself in this role? Then this might be the right opportunity for you. About the Department The Clinical Immunogenicity Analysis department is responsible for assessment of immunogenicity, primarily induction of anti-drug antibodies, of pharmaceutical drugs within the Novo Nordisk A/S portfolio. We develop and validate assays for detection and characterization of antibody responses to drug candidates according to relevant white papers and regulatory guidelines. Our area Non-clinical and Clinical Assay Sciences (NCAS) is responsible for pre-clinical and clinical bioanalysis of pharmaceutical drugs, covering pharmacokinetic, immunogenicity and biomarker analyses. We support the entire drug product portfolio of Novo Nordisk A/S. NCAS consists of five departments with a strong collaborative atmosphere and shared laboratory facilities that house a range of different state-of-the art techniques, e.g. different ligand-binding assays such as ELISA, MSD, AlphaLISA, RIA, Gyros, SPR, LCMS as well as cell-based assays. NCAS is a GLP/GCP regulated area and is currently undergoing a transformation towards more digitized and automated laboratory processes. Our area is part of Global Discovery & Development Sciences and we are located in Måløv (greater Copenhagen). The Position The current position is located in the Clinical Immunogenicity Analysis department, which consists of 16 highly skilled scientists and technicians. As Senior scientist in our department you will be part of both non-clinical and clinical project groups with stakeholders from different parts of Novo Nordisk. You will be responsible for immunogenicity assessment strategy, development and validation of new assays (e.g. RIA, MSD, ELISA and cell based assays) in close collaboration with technicians, analysis of samples from non-clinical and clinical studies in compliance with GLP and GCP requirements and regulatory guidelines and eventually outsourcing of the assays to Contract Laboratories. You will join an area that is undergoing an exciting transformation and can look forward to a very interesting and challenging position in an international and scientifically strong environment. Qualifications You hold a MSc / Ph.D. in immunology (or other relevant area), alternatively you have extensive industry experience, preferably within drug development. A candidate with strong theoretical and hands-on knowledge on antibody assays will be preferred. A ‘high level of quality’ mindset is essential as we work according to regulatory guidelines and quality systems. You have excellent communication skills and are a dedicated team player that like to have fun at work and enjoy belonging to a good and high-performing team. You have a good sense of humour and are a result-oriented, flexible and a dedicated team player. You enjoy handling different types of tasks at the same time. You have interpersonal skills that allow you to build fruitful relations to both colleagues and stakeholders and have excellent English communication skills, both written and oral. NCAS has a strong collaborative atmosphere and experience within bioanalysis, biomarkers or laboratory automation and digitalization are welcome but not a requirement for the current position.
