Do you have what it takes to break new ground and develop injectable pharmaceutical products during clinical development? Are you eager to act in a team linking research and production during clinical development and documentation of formulations and processes for new injectable products? If yes, then apply now About the department Injectable Formulation Development is part of CMC Development and we are organised in R&D. We are responsible for developing formulations and production processes for injectables of new pharmaceutical products. The department is organised in 4 teams and has approximately 70 employees and we are situated in Måløv. In our daily work we link research and final production for launch and drive the entire variety of injectable projects from early stage (phase 1-2) to late-stage (phase 3/PV) development. The development projects in the department include all injectables comprising GLP-1’s, insulins, haemophilia products, monoclonal antibodies, and oligonucleotides. The position We offer you a position, where you will have the responsibility for product and process development to secure optimal pharmaceutical characteristics and stability. Your responsibilities will be:
  • Working in close collaboration with a project team, and be responsible for designing, interpreting, and reporting studies on drug products
  • Writing documentation for internal and external use including clinical trial applications and submission documents
  • Interacting with a wide variety of internal stakeholders, e.g., Product Supply, Regulatory affairs, Quality Assurance, Research- and Analytical Development
  • Together with your colleagues, contributing to the on-going optimisation of processes and systems with LEAN as the guiding principle
  • In the team you help set a clear scientific direction and inspire your colleagues with your positive and can-do attitude. Qualifications You hold a M.Sc. or a PhD within Pharmacy, Chemistry, Biophysics, Engineering of related field of study preferably backed by 2-3 years of relevant working experience. Preferably, you have:
  • Experience in formulation and/or process development and documentation, including regulatory and quality aspects of drug development projects as well as intellectual property rights
  • Ability to promote collaboration with other parts of the organisation as the position requires close interaction with a variety of stakeholders
  • You possess strong communication skills both verbally and written in English and it is an advantage but not a requirement to handle spoken and written Danish
  • As a person you show drive and have a positive can-do mind-set, you enjoy working in a team with highly motivated people dedicated to developing the next generation of pharmaceuticals in a continuously developing environment. At the same time, you work systematically and can adhere to strict documentation and quality standards. You have excellent collaborative skills, and agility and flexibility are a natural part of your approach to interact with colleagues in the department and with your stakeholders.
