This is a unique opportunity to be a influential driver of processes that will significantly impact Novo Nordisk's Research and Early Development (R&ED) digitalisation.About the AreaDigital & Research Intelligence (DRI) is a new area, which is dedicated to developing and drive external collaborations and ensure access to emerging technologies relevant for the digital transformation of R&ED. DRI provides a modern Scientific Intelligence unit to ensure access to external and internal scientific data and information, will establish operations to facilitate maturation of new ideas and develop an educational framework to drive the digital journey of early research.Digital & Research Intelligence is part of Digital Science & Innovation (DSI), which was recently established to drive digitalisation across Research & Early Development (R&ED). DSI participates in drug development projects across the value chain, from early discovery to pre-clinical development.Position OverviewAs the Project Manager for our Digital Ideation Lab, you will drive maturation of digital concepts designed to enhance early research activities within R&ED. You will operate within a dynamic, cross-functional environment, collaborating with different professionals such as scientists, software developers and stakeholders to translate innovative ideas into practical solutions.Our maturation processes relies on Design Thinking workshops, ideation sprints, and various idea development techniques, such as the Business Model Canvas. Our goal is to pinpoint the most effective digital solutions for R&ED. We provide a systematic process for nurturing ideas to determine the most feasible business outcomes. Through customized workshops ideation campaigns.As Project Manager of Ideation Lab, you will report to Carolina Benjaminsen, Senior Director and Head of Digital Science Academy & Ideation Lab in Digital & Research Intelligence.Key Responsibilities:- Project management: Develop and implement the Digital Ideation Lab for R&ED as a process-oriented service for maturing digital ideas.
- Idea maturation: Oversee the formalized idea maturation process, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to refine and prioritize digital ideas supporting business requirements.
- Stakeholder collaboration: Effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Design thinking: Apply design thinking principles to the ideation process, fostering creativity and user-centric solutions.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive process documentation, including status reports and records of lessons learned.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on process status to senior management and other relevant stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations for improvement.Qualifications:- Education: Master's degree or Ph.d. in a relevant field, such as bioinformatics, life science or data science.
- Project management experience: Proven track record of successfully managing complex digital processes, ideally within early research and development or the pharmaceutical context.
- Design Thinking expertise: Familiarity with design thinking methodologies and their ap-plication to problem-solving and innovation.
- Stakeholder engagement: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Management skills: Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including motivating and guid-ing cross-functional teams toward process objectives.
- Analytical thinking: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex is-sues and make data-driven decisions.
- Innovation mindset: A passion for innovation and a desire to drive digital transformation in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Documentation skills: Strong documentation and reporting skills to maintain process records and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to handle complex organizational environments and ambiguityThis Project Manager position drives the digital ideation efforts within Novo Nordisk's R&ED.
