Do you have strong interest in people and stakeholder management? If so, you might be our new Associate Manager within Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Analytical Support. The position You will be heading up our Raw materials, Residues and Reference materials team. The team is consisting of 18 colleagues of both specialists, scientists, and technicians. You will report to the Director of CMC Analytical Support and be a member of the management team. The team is responsible for the development and optimisation of a range of analytical methods as well as being responsible for analytical testing and they work according to the GMP principles. Further, the team is responsible for characterisation and certification of the entire range of reference materials in Novo Nordisk. Ultimately, the team oversees developing methods that can be transferred into routine QC testing in Product Supply. · In the job, you are responsible for team performance and for ensuring timely delivery of activities according to project deadlines and customer needs · You work proactively with your team and your stakeholders across Novo Nordisk, ranging from Research to Product Supply and you have a strong focus on developing your team at both a personal and professional level · You play an important role in transforming our laboratories into a digital and automated setup and focus on creating a work environment that fosters enthusiasm and initiative and will encourage empowerment · You understand your stakeholders, know the importance of investing in strong stakeholder relations and you participate in cross-functional projects and collaborations Qualifications We are looking for an Associate Manager with strong analytical skills who is passionate about leadership and people management. To be successful in this role: · You hold a MSc degree within Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacy or similar relevant discipline. · You have pharma experience and are used to GMP requirements. · You are a passionate people manager with strong analytical skills. · You master the right balance between leadership and management. · You are a motivator that inspires your team via trust and empowerment. · You have excellent communication skills and must be fluent in both written and spoken Danish and English. · You have demonstrated to deliver results without compromising job satisfaction. About the department CMC Analytical Support is a department within CMC Drug Product & Analytical Development, and located in Novo Nordisk Park, Måløv, greater Copenhagen. The department is responsible for developing analytical methods, validation, documentation, characterisation, and delivering analytical results for drug substance, drug product, side chains, raw materials, excipients, and leachables, all supporting the progress of the pipeline in Novo Nordisk. Providing analytical support to all parts of Novo Nordisk, the department acts as a link between Research and Product Supply, spanning from early development to phase 3 clinical trials and registration. We have an innovative mindset, and we are on an interesting transformation journey to become a truly digital and automated laboratory. We are approx. 80 colleagues in the department, organized in five teams all working at non-GMP as well as GMP level.
