Because of an increased global demand for our innovative and intelligent solutions, we are looking for a New Business Development Manager.

In the newly establish position, as New Business Development Manager, you will work independently in a staff function with report to our CEO, where you will utilize competences and resources across our organization.

A challenging job with focus on new business development and strategic decision-making
As our New Business Development Manager your primary area of responsibility will be to facilitate and be the supporting business function for the development, coordination, consolidation and presentation of new business ideas coming from both internal and external sources for Kamstrup decision makers. In addition you should help promote those who have the ambitions, are willing to invest resources and have the necessary capabilities to carry new business development ideas through.

More specifically, your responsibilities will be to:

• Facilitate the process of maturing, presenting and selecting new business ideas and M&A’s for decision makers, including recommendations for go/no-go decisions
• Communicate with and involve relevant internal stakeholders
• Act as sparring partner and/or coach in relation to processing ideas through the different decision process stages and in setting the right teams to succeed
• Ensure continuous flow in the pipeline of ideas being presented and further processed
• Build pipeline of new business opportunities with the potential to create business value with great impact for the future of Kamstrup
• Continuously work on improving tools and processes for new business development based on experience and learning

Furthermore, you will provide relevant input to the yearly strategy process on potential future business areas, based on the consolidated work within New Business Development. In addition you will take the lead and inspire to new business development within Kamstrup’s organization and take on ad-hoc tasks defined by the CEO.

Personality matters
We are looking for an ambitious and competent New Business Development Manager with drive and a pioneering attitude. It is a requirement that you:

• Have a theoretical background from Engineering, Business Management or similar on a master level
• Have minimum 3 years of experience from a similar position
• Have international experience and know-how to act in a global company
• Have minimum 5 years of documented and relevant experience from an international group working in related functions like product management, business development and/or commercial and legal services

Furthermore you hold an excellent strategy consulting toolbox with a structured approach to problem solving and have solid functional expertise and a broad business understanding with a long record of driving business development with effective results.

As a person you are a self-starter, result oriented and possess a hard-working attitude. However it is vital that you are outgoing and a strong team player, who can coordinate between different organizational units within Kamstrup. You work persistently and systematically with internal and external stakeholders to reach the business objectives and thereby grow the business. You are able to see opportunities and you strive to deliver a high quality in your work. Furthermore, you are an excellent communicator, who can perform and communicate to several organizational levels.

The job requires fluency in written and spoken English. Danish will be an advantage.
