You will be part of the Global Procurement team at Demant. We are a professional and visionary procurement team - characterized by high ambitions and a fun and informal atmosphere.
In your role as our new Project (Sourcing) Manager, you will be the instrumental person to coordinate suppluer related topics and guard cost. Together with our category managers, who will hand over the vendors selected for the projects in our launch programs, you will be in charge of the communication with the suppliers.
Our launch programs have a duration of 6 months, and we launch new products 2 times a year. The position is a perfect step stone for your futher career in Demant.
Delivering Procurement Excellence
Your main responsibility will be to represent procurement in the early stages of new product projects, by consolidating and preparing project input, establishing procurement review of project milestones and participating in project meetings.
Managing projects across the supply chain and the business together with cross functional colleagues will also be a large part of your job. Your important internal stakeholders will be Category Management, R&D, Quality, and the Program Management team.
You will be working with a wide range of vendors across our categories. From here, you will make sure our vendors have the capacity needed in order to deliver to the production projects. Communicating to our vendors ensuring that they know what to deliver is essential in this role. This gives you an opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping initiatives related to optimizing costs, supplier and risk management.

To succeed in this role
We imagine that you might come with a relevant bachelor’s degree within Business Administration, Economics, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management or a similar field. Or you have worked in a similar position for 1-2 years or have just finished your studies.

You have excellent communication and good coordination skills, and you thrive on building relation to stakeholders across the organization. Your outgoing personality and confidence in driving and executing projects will be highly valued in our dynamic work environment.

- Internal stakeholder management within Global Procurement as well within relevant projects
- Furthermore, you can expect some travel activity in the range of 20 – 30 days per year.
