Your new role

As Project Manager, in Spain, you will work with our existing and future activities within PV primarily and potentially wind projects in Spain. Your role takes on the responsibility for analyzing the data for instance performing feasibility studies in plots of land to develop PV plants. Finally, you will be responsible for supervising our existing portfolio of projects, supervising our partners on development tasks, and conducting site visits (both on existing and potential projects).

You will be part of our Spanish project team which today consists of 9 colleagues distributed in our offices in Barcelona, Copenhagen, and Portugal. Your team members' responsibility is to identify, engage and negotiate with landowners/development partners to obtain land rights to develop utility-scale renewable energy projects.

The position is based in Barcelona with frequent travels inside Spain and occasionally to our HQ in Copenhagen.

Main responsibilities:


  • Developing the projects from scratch to Ready to build following the different permits required
  • Having constant communication with the different stakeholders (Administration, Utilities, Land Owners, partners)
  • Perform feasibility studies in plots of land to develop PV plants
  • Analyze/Design of photovoltaic installations in the preliminary study and development phase
  • Analyze/Design of implementation plans
  • Analyze energy simulations
  • Review the electrical design of the plant

Professional skills we expect from you:


  • You have a bachelor's or master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or similar
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience. Experience in the development of renewable energy permits in Spain is an advantage
  • You have experience developing the permitting stage of PV projects in Spain
  • You have experience in analyzing/designing photovoltaic and electrical installations using specific software
  • You have Knowledge of GIS tools
  • Have Knowledge of the renewable energy industry, primarily in wind and solar technologies is an advantage
  • You master Spanish and English
