The position
You will be responsible for the clinical pharmacology programmes and providing the clinical pharmacology strategy for late and early-stage development projects within the Rare Endocrine Portfolio of Rare Disease & Advanced Therapies.

About the department
The Clinical Pharmacology department is responsible for development projects within Rare Disease & Advanced Therapies. We are a department of dedicated and highly engaged colleagues working in a flexible, collaborative, and cross-functional setting. We focus on new innovative technologies such as RNA interference and gene editing as well as monoclonal antibodies, proteins, and peptides within therapeutic areas like rare endocrine disorders and rare blood disorders.
Clinical Pharmacology plays a key role in the development of new drugs at Novo Nordisk. We work as an integrated part of development and research project teams, being responsible for the clinical pharmacology and dosing strategy. We are scientifically responsible for the planning and oversight of Clinical Pharmacology trials. We provide clinical pharmacology expertise to all clinical development phases, Health Authority interactions, and regulatory submissions worldwide.

The position
You will be responsible for the clinical pharmacology programmes and providing the clinical pharmacology strategy for late and early-stage development projects within the Rare Endocrine Portfolio of Rare Disease & Advanced Therapies.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for:
- Clinical pharmacology summaries of submission dossiers and interactions with Health Authorities to provide clinical pharmacology input to secure approvals of new drugs
- Clinical pharmacology trial designs as well as interpretation and communication of trial results
- Driving and coordinating activities in the headquarter study groups and collaboration with our affiliates and external partners involved across the value chain
- Scientific communication and interactions with many internal and external global stakeholders and key opinion leaders
- Represent Clinical Pharmacology in global project teams
Qualifications
To thrive and succeed, we expect you to have:
- Master’s degree in Life Sciences, complemented by a Ph.D
- Strong scientific mindset combined with expert knowledge and experience within Clinical Pharmacology in drug development from pharma or biotech industry
- Experience with health authority interactions
- Proven track record in planning and conducting clinical trials
- Experience working in cross-functional teams in a global and dynamic environment
- Proficiency in both written and spoken English
