The position
Do you want to be responsible for driving IT and OT solutions in one of Novo Nordisk’s strategic manufacturing expansion projects? Are you interested in working with one of the best IT organisations in the pharmaceutical industry? Then we have the right opportunity for you.
You have the possibility to join us from the early stages of building a new manufacturing site with an ambition to exploit forefront technologies. Come and join our team, working out of Bagsværd.
The project you will be working on is of high strategic importance to Novo Nordisk and will have significant visibility and support from Senior Management. The job requires strong stakeholder management at all organisational levels in the company. Together with internal product delivery teams, as well as external engineering partners and suppliers, you will implement IT and OT solutions for a range of purposes from ERP, MES and Facility systems to IT infrastructure. You will supervise construction and commissioning of Infrastructure, IT and OT systems. Furthermore, you will manage scope, plan, costs and project risks, secure an excellent end user experience, and facilitate a smooth handover to an operations team.
As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will provide leadership, direction, guidance and coaching to the broader project team. You will have to manoeuvre between traditional waterfall project methods and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). You will work closely together with the different agile delivery teams across the organisation and our external partners.
Qualifications
We are looking for an ambitious and proactive colleague who can contribute to the team both professionally and personally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in most of the following skills & experiences:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager, Scrum Master or Product Owner
• You have a MSC or similar graduate degree in relevant field (Information Technology, Software Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Business Administration)
• Experience with IT and automation implementations and IT infrastructure preferred in production areas
• You have worked with IT projects within the pharma industry or other regulated industries
• You have experience from a large global company and used to working with different cultures
• You have managed a complex vendor setup
On a personal level you have strong project management and people skills and have a natural ability to engage your stakeholders. You can handle several tasks at the same time while keeping an ongoing focus on learning and delivering strong results. You are structured and ambitious about your projects and are interested in growing your skills as well as expertise to lead the way. You can ride a storm off and are a strong motivator of others. You thrive in a multicultural environment and have excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
About the department
You will be working in DD&IT Product Supply, which is part of our global IT organisation, and you will also be an integrated part of the expansion project organisation which is currently ramping up.
You will get the opportunity to join an international, high performing team. We are supporting IT used in production and we take responsibility for new IT investment projects with the focus of harmonising and standardising IT systems across our manufacturing areas.
