As a Clinical Operations Lead you take on a senior role with extensive responsibilities, leading and delivering all operational aspects of the set-up and initiation activities of a trial while delegating to and collaborating with Global Trial Managers and other stakeholders. Your main responsibilities will include:
• Drive the discussion from protocol synopsis to recruitment, focusing on how to best setup and run our clinical trials to the benefit of participants
• Contribute to translate organisational and project aspirations into operational actions
• Assume control for one or two trials within rare blood disorders, depending on trial complexity
• Be part of an international cross-functional team planning and set up a clinical trial
• Employ innovative trial designs For the right candidate, the position can be remotely based. Qualifications
You will be a great asset in our team because you have:
• A MSc in Natural Science and min. five years of relevant experience, or
• A BSc in Natural Science or equivalent with at least seven years of relevant experience
• Extensive clinical project management experience and the ability to impact the execution and improvement of core clinical processes
• Knowledge and experience in clinical trial methodology and operational aspects of trial initiation
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

About the department
In the Rare Disease and Advanced Therapies project area we focus on rare blood- and endocrine disorders as well as new treatment modalities, and we span various technologies such as proteins, monoclonal antibodies, stem cells and gene therapy as current platforms. We currently have several ongoing Phase 1-4 trials within Haemophilia, Growth Disorders and Sickle Cell Disease, and are soon preparing to enter new indications within Rare Blood and Endocrine Disorders. In addition, we are responsible for the execution of the Novo Nordisk stem cell portfolio. Here you will get the opportunity to work on products entering human studies through to marketed products.
