Do you have a strong scientific background and flair for applying your strategic and analytical skills? Do you want to engage with key stakeholders in implementation of strategies across the Diabetes area in Clinical Drug Development in Novo Nordisk? Then you might be the Senior Strategic Lead we are looking for. The position We are responsible for clinical development of the diabetes portfolio in Novo Nordisk in terms of project management, medical and scientific aspects and clinical operations. The Corporate Vice President of the area is now seeking a close collaborator who is experienced in drug development and eager to develop strategies and turn them into actions. As a Senior Strategic Lead, you will be responsible for running strategic processes across the Diabetes area, pro-actively engaging with key stakeholders to develop the plans and supporting the Diabetes LT agenda through flexibility and pragmatism. Your key responsibilities include:
  • Driving analysis, development and implementation of organisational as well business related strategies across Diabetes Ensuring operational implementation of tactical activities supporting the CVP area aspirations
  • Driving and improving business processes across Diabetes
  • Providing ad hoc support to the CPVP of Diabetes
  • Qualifications You hold a PhD and 5-7 years of experience or a master’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience in running processes, planning projects and business case analyses across Diabetes area. To be considered for this position you need to have:
  • Solid understanding of how to manoeuvre in a large organisation
  • Solid experience with business processes – preferably within NN
  • Solid experience with project management
  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical value chain
  • Experience working in a role requiring ability to navigate among multiple (senior) stakeholders
  • On a personal level you have strong project management, strategic and analytical skills are capable of handling high complexity. The ideal candidate can communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders at all levels across Novo Nordisk. In addition, you are independent, flexible, proactive and result driven. About the department The Diabetes project area is anchored in Clinical Drug Development under our Development organisation. We are responsible for an exciting pipeline of clinical development programmes targeting people living with type 1 and type 2 diabetes and our trial activities range from phase 1 to phase 4 – including Real-World Evidence (RWE) activities, virtual and decentralised trials, and non-interventional studies. We collaborate closely across many skill areas and together we all contribute with our high level of expertise.
