The position As Senior Trial Planner your responsibilities will include: Combine a variety of data with trial requirements and global cross-portfolio strategic considerations and insights Enable a small cross functional team to develop an operationally feasible country allocation and trial recruitment strategy (CARS) Lead several such cross-functional CARS teams The approach & datasets leveraged to support yourself as Senior Trial Planner in driving the CARS teams are evolving, so it is a key requirement that you are striving in a flexible and changing environment, not directly regulated by GxP. Additionally, each CARS is unique and presents its own set of challenges, so this is an exciting chance for you to confidently guide the teams without necessarily having a prescribed manual for every possible scenario. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have: Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in Science combined with 3-4 years’ experience, preferably in clinical development Ideally, experience working with clinical trials in clinical operations (start-up and/or recruitment) Ability to effectively analyse project specific data/systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency Demonstrated change willingness and curiosity in previous role(s) Quality mindset and able to prioritize your work in a fast paced and changing environment Professional proficiency in English As a person, it is essential that you can use your good interpersonal and communication skills to achieve results together with your colleagues. About the department Global Trial Planning (GPT) is developing into a centre of expertise within data-driven strategic patient forecasting and recruitment strategies. We are responsible for a strategic allocation of patients from more than 50 countries with local clinical staff into all our clinical phase 2 – 4 trials. The name is unique to Novo Nordisk, but in many aspects the responsibilities resemble what is well known in the industry as the feasibility strategists. You will become a part of a function that consists of thirteen employees and is growing; currently we are nine Global Trial Planners, and three Data Analysts. We are a relatively diverse group in terms of personal profiles, previous experiences, and educations. One thing we have in common is a background in Science, and a strong appreciation for how our differences are strengthening our team and its deliverables. The function GTP is anchored in Clinical Drug Development (CDD) within the Development organisation. In Development, we are responsible for managing clinical drug development worldwide from early development phases to product launch. We provide medical and scientific documentation for clinical submissions and authorities while ensuring that the process lives up to global standards, regulations, and business ethics.
