We have an opening for a data scientist – statistical programmer for a 12 Months temporary position.   The position As a Statistical Programmer your overall focus is to turn complex data into clearly organized data and reports, providing insights and recommendations to your colleagues. You will do this by developing programs for preparing and reporting clinical data for statistical analyses, adhering to international data standards (CDISC). You will be preparing outputs for aggregated documents and publications as well as supporting regulatory commitments. Additionally, effective communication skills will be key as you collaborate with and explain technical concepts to peers and actively seek and incorporate feedback. The Senior Statistical Programmer is responsible for:
  • planning, managing and execution of statistical programming deliverables in clinical trial as well as for non-trial activities

  • providing input to documents required by authorities for trial and non-trial activities

  • ensuring that clinical trial and non-trial tasks are aligned with the project specifications

  • continuous development of own skills and contributing to the development of Biostatistics

    •   Qualifications The core requirements to succeed in this position are:
  • MSc, PhD in Natural or Technical Sciences (or equivalent theoretical background – please qualify in application).

  • 3+ years of experience with statistical programming and preferably 1+ year within clinical development or biostatistics

  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects as a proactive team member

  • You can drive progress autonomously and engage in proactive decision-making

  • Skilled programmer within R, Python and/or SAS

    • As a person you have a positive mindset and a passion for fostering constructive innovation. About the department Biostatistics is a part of the Data Science organization and consists of close to 400 statisticians and statistical programmers globally. Approx. 250 are situated in Denmark in Søborg and Aalborg offices. Biostatistics is organised in smaller units within clinical therapeutic areas, which ensures close collaboration with our stakeholders. Our scientific and programming tasks are primarily performed in-house. We therefore offer a wide variety of tasks and challenges and provide a strong scientific community.
