BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Business Development Manager, NRT

We have ambitious plans to grow our NRT business in existing markets, with further expansion in emerging markets. To support this aspiration, we are looking for a new Business Development Manager to join our team, reporting to the Business Development Director.

To succeed in this role, you’ll be commercially astute with a strong business acumen. You will have excellent communication skills with fluency in English. You’ll also be a master of all aspects of the business development process and responsible for managing your own project portfolio.

A positive, enthusiastic and winning attitude is critical to thrive in this job, as well as a profound understanding of the importance of teamwork as you will have many touch points across the organisation.

You should expect to travel between 25 - 50 days per year.

Key accountabilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and build relationships with potential new business partners.
  • Establish new business opportunities with these partners and assess for alignment with Fertin’s strategy.
  • Prepare and present business cases and recommendations, including financial modelling, to senior management through Fertin’s stage gate process.
  • Lead the negotiation of new product development, supply and license agreements.
  • Following signing of supply agreements, hand over to the Key Account Manager for execution.

Required experience and competencies

Your background will include a relevant education. You’ll have significant experience within business development in a regulated environment. You will be confident with working with large international customers and have a solid track record of generating new business.

You are a team player, self-motivated, results-oriented and tenacious. You will also be analytically strong, good with numbers and take responsibility of your area.

Previous involvement in supporting mergers and acquisitions is an advantage, as too is familiarity of working with CDMO’s in the health care industry.
