Post Market Clinical Development

We are currently experience massive success and are looking for a Clinical Research Specialist, who can take on the role as responsible post market clinical specialist and execute on clinical post market development activities.
We offer a challenging position where you will play an important role in building the Post Market Clinical Development department based in Global Clinical Affairs under Global Innovation. You will be instrumental in securing our ongoing dedication to quality products.
You will join the growing Global Clinical Affairs consisting of 25 colleagues divided into: Clinical Research, Post Market Clinical Development, Clinical Operations and Biosafety. 21 of us are based at Ambu Headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark and 4 colleagues are based at our site in Penang, Malaysia. We are currently hiring new colleagues in the US for the new US-based Clinical Operations department.
You will be reporting to the Head of Post Market Clinical Development. The team currently consists of 7 professionals of which 6 is based in Ballerup and 1 in Penang.
An expert in post market activities with a clinical focus
As Clinical Research Specialist, you will be part of an effective innovation culture with a tradition for fast completion of activities. You can look forward to working with very motivated and independent specialists who take huge pride in what they do with a team-oriented mindset.
The job will include that you set, communicate and develop the right scientific level when implementing international clinical medical device legislation and regulation in collaboration with team members during the post market phases and clinical activities of our products. This means that you will take responsibility to set and execute the right documentation level and at the same time act as the go-to sparring partner in our product development and improvement activities. Our department also supports marketing and sales by creating clinical documentation and perform medical writing for ongoing improvement and strengthening of the clinical and commercial foundation for our marketed product portfolios.
It is therefore important that you are able to ensure that quality and speed is balanced together with your hands-on approach as you execute on clinical activities such as clinical evaluations, publications and post market clinical investigational activities.
Passion and experience
To succeed in this position, you will need to have a few years’ experience in the clinical medical device area combined with a relevant academic degree, e.g. a MSc in Health or similar. It is a prerequisite for the position to have experience with and interest in EU/FDA medical device regulations and guidelines related to the clinical area. It will be considered an advantage if you have experience with medical device development in addition.
As a person, you exude passion, lead by example, have a good commercial understanding and it is natural for you to take ownership of and develop your area of responsibility. It is important that working with your stakeholders comes natural to you and that you enjoy working in a changing and challenging environment. You are an efficient communicator and you are a very good networker. Additionally, you make accurate judgements and decisions and you feel a natural desire to drive continuous improvement.
Finally, you need to have excellent command of the English language, as this will be your main working language, - verbally and in writing.
