Gubra is looking for a Scientist to support our peptide drug discovery pipeline as well as advanced contract research assignments within bioanalysis and pharmaceutical research.

As Scientist in mass spectrometry bioanalysis you will:
Contribute to
Develop
You will be working closely with technicians and scientists in the Drug Preparation and Profiling Group. The group consists of 10 technicians and 5 scientists. It is part of the In vitro & Pharmaceutical Research Area responsible for bioanalysis and biomarker assays, pharmaceutical and in vitro cellular characterisation of peptide drug candidates, formulation expertise and next generation RNA sequencing.

As Scientist in mass spectrometry bioanalysis you will:
Contribute to
- Methods for quantification of peptides and small molecules in LC-MS/MS
- Optimal sample preparation including online Transcend Turboflow
- Troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment performance
- Peptide and formulation testing in RP-UPLC systems
- Deliveries of PK, drug exposure, metabolite, and stability data to internal/partnered projects and customers
Develop
- Our bioanalysis and RP-UPLC platform, including technologies and automation
- Digital solutions - in close collaboration with our computational biologists - for sample- and data flow
- Drug discovery project opportunities
- Collaboration, innovation, and documentation
You will be working closely with technicians and scientists in the Drug Preparation and Profiling Group. The group consists of 10 technicians and 5 scientists. It is part of the In vitro & Pharmaceutical Research Area responsible for bioanalysis and biomarker assays, pharmaceutical and in vitro cellular characterisation of peptide drug candidates, formulation expertise and next generation RNA sequencing.
Professional qualifications
- PhD degree and/or relevant experience in analytical chemistry/biochemistry and
- Hands-on experience with plasma bioanalysis, mass spectrometry and assay optimisation on several LC-MS/MS platforms
- A desire to develop as an expert in mass spectrometry and RP-UPLC
- DMPK experience incl. PK/PD modelling is an advantage
- Experience with accurate mass analysis and proteomics is an advantage
