Group Leader, Pharmacology Research

Gubra is looking for an energetic and dedicated group leader for one of our four in vivo groups in Pharmacology Research.

You have broad experience with in vivo pharmacology on both a scientific, managerial, and operational level. As our new Group Leader in Pharmacology Research, we expect you to actively support the realisation of our vision - in close collaboration with the rest of us.

As Group Leader at Gubra your tasks include:

• People management in Pharmacology Research (line management and administrative tasks)
• Strong support to the planning and logistics of day-to-day processes in the animal facility
• Managerial and/or scientific support to study directors, principal investigators, project groups and sales organization
• Collaborative interaction with other group leaders at Gubra
• Active participation in the continued development and implementation of new processes in the area
• Support to Executive Management to implement and execute the strategy

As Group Leader you will be heading an in vivo pharmacology team consisting of scientists, laboratory technicians and animal technicians, 12-15 persons at present. Depending on your profile and scientific background other responsibilities can be included, e.g. scientific support to studies, the project organization, and our business development activities.

Professional qualifications

• Solid experience with people management in research organisations
• PhD or other equivalent degree within life science
• Experience with in vivo pharmacology, preferably within metabolic diseases
• Experience with drug or target discovery projects
