An exciting job for an experienced Analytical Coordinator is available in Oral Analytical Development, a highly exiting and dynamic R&D area, where we develop and produce oral drug products of peptides and proteins for pre-clinical and clinical studies. Novo Nordisk is pioneering this field within diabetes with the leading oral GLP-1 projects. About the department
The department Oral Analytical Development is part of the area Chemistry, Manufacturing and Control (CMC) Oral Protein Formulation in the R&D organisation.
Our department consists of two teams and employs around 50 highly skilled and experienced analytical scientists and technicians who are responsible for analytical activities in relation to the oral drug product portfolio. We have a strong focus on scientific skills with a social and engaging atmosphere.

The position
As analytical coordinator you will be a member of the CMC core project team along with other CMC technical coordinators, and you will interact with a wide variety of stakeholders, e.g. drug product development, Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) process development, quality assurance and regulatory affairs.
In this role you will be responsible for aligning the needs of the project organisation with those of line of business. Close collaboration with the line management of the departments is vital in order to ensure the most optimal planning and execution of project targets. More detailed responsibilities include:

- breakdown of project key deliverables to department activities in our primary project planning system

- planning the timing of department activities together with team leaders, team members and other project coordinators

- clearly and timely communicating project requirements to team and department members

- preparing and coordinating regulatory documentation according to international guidelines

Qualifications

You hold an MSc in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Engineering or another relevant field within natural sciences. Your degree is supplemented with min. 2-3 years of experience in managing analytical activities/projects covering early phase to late phase clinical development. Scientific experience within analytical development and with GMP is expected. Additionally, it is a great advantage if you have experience with transfer of analytical methods, and cooperation with Contract Manufacturing Organisation (CMO). Lastly, you master both written and spoken English and ideally also Danish or another Scandinavian language.

As a person we expect you to have excellent collaboration skills, to be structured and reliable and to have an ability to stay calm and make the right decisions in a dynamic work environment. Additionally, you are a team player and have a feel for communicating essential information to the right stakeholders at the right time.
