The department is responsible for developing analytical methods, validation, documentation, characterisation and delivering analytical results for new drug substance, drug product and side chains as well as for raw materials, excipients and various process related residues and leachables.

Providing analytical support to all parts of Novo Nordisk, the department acts as a link between the research unit and the production, spanning from early development to phase 3 clinical trials and registration. Together we represent many years of scientific experience enabling us to innovate and solve exciting and challenging tasks.

The Job

You will be part of the Biophysical Analysis team and your main responsibility will be to develop and use biophysical analytical methods in order to support the development of next generation drug substance and drug products. Together with our skilled technicians you will be responsible for planning and coordinating experiments in the laboratory and you will be the responsible analytical person in selected projects. • Experience with scattering techniques, e.g. static/dynamic light scattering (SLS/DLS) and small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS)
  • Experience with calorimetry e.g. differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC), in addition to ITC for characterisation of binding/interactions, experience with surface plasmon resonance (SPR) is also advantageous.
  • Experience with particle characterisation techniques for quantification and characterisation of subvisible and nano-particles (f.ex. Flow imaging)
  • Experience with various aspects of spectroscopy e.g. Circular Dichroism (CD), Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), fluorescence

On a personal level, you have a positive and flexible mind-set, and thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing project environment.
