A full-time position as postdoc is vacant at the Department of Clinical Research, Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark (SDU) and at the Department of Cardiology, Odense University hospital-Svendborg Hospital. The position is limited to 3 years, starting March 1, 2023 or as soon as possible thereafter.
Research tasks
The postdoc position will cover research, teaching, professional development, and guidance in health economics and more specifically social inequality in health care quality for patients with heart failure.
The position is financed by a grant from the Danish Independent Research Fund and focuses on the responsibility of the health care system in relation to the social inequality in health, which is increasing.
Expectations of qualifications
The potential applicant must have a Ph.D.-degree and documented research experience in one or more of the following areas/fields:
Potential applicants must be postdoc qualified in accordance with the Danish Ministerial Order on Job Structure for Academic Staff at Universities.

Appointment takes place in accordance with the agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the Central Organisation of the Academics.

- Definition of inequality and related analytical approaches
- Concentration and regression-based indices
- Danish national registries
- Clinical quality databases under the The Danish Clinical Quality Program– National Clinical Registries (RKKP)
