In the R&D Strategy and Change department we are looking for an RPA Execution lead who will be leading RPA roll out in R&D with high impact for the business as part of the Digitalising R&D team. Digitalising R&D is part of our R&D transformation programme looking to transform how LEO Pharma operates, and as such is set in a fast-paced, innovative and challenging environment. You will become part of a team with a pleasant and flexible work environment, a team that have full speed ahead whilst staying open minded and social. As RPA Execution Lead you will be leading the roll out of RPA in R&D including opportunity identification, the overall pipeline progress according to agreed scope, timeline, and budget/resources. Moreover, you will serve as the bridge between the different R&D areas and RPA Center of Excellence.
Our ideal candidate is a skilled collaborator who can work with our stakeholders across research and development to experiment, demonstrate and implement methods to automate many of our repetitive processes. First task will be to analyze and develop an understanding of our business processes. Your target will be any function with repetitive processing.
Who are you?
Your responsibilities will include:
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to identify automation opportunities by analyzing and documenting processes; assessing feasibility for automation. Direct meetings, interviews, and workshops designed to gather requirements and design solutions. Design, develop, and test solutions to automate processes, activities, and tasks through RPA using programming languages and available platforms to deliver operations efficiencies. Document technical designs, release notes, and other project documentation to support development, security, operations, and maintenance. Create and document test procedures and scenarios prior to launching. Participate in QA testing activities, including testing at the task and end-to-end process levels, integration testing, and user acceptance testing. Communicate to colleagues and customers during the product development to make sure it fits design. Support business teams in testing activities, including integration testing, end-to-end (business process) testing and UAT. Work collaboratively with operational and technical teams to deliver projects by assigned deadlines. Help develop standards and best practices for RPA including governance, operating model and solutions. Deploy projects successfully and problem-solve issues that arise in the daily running of automation processes and provide timely responses and solutions as required.
Preferred qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS, Engineering, or related fields. A minimum of 5 years programming and/or development experience (IQ BOT, Java, .Net, C#, Visual Basic, VB.net, etc.) preferably on automation and/or integration projects. Prior functional experience in SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile development methodologies including requirements, design, development, testing, documentation, training, deployment, operations, support and maintenance. Ability to understand and create business process workflow diagrams or procedural documentation. Excellent, proactive problem solver, strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and define technical/functional advanced solutions. Previous experience from a global/multicultural environment. Excellent communication skills in both written & verbal English. Strong collaborator: Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders as part of the RPA delivery cycle.
