As part of this, a vacancy exists for a UX Designer to join Maersk Technology’s newly formed Design System team in Copenhagen.
This multi-disciplined team has a vision to make the complex, simple and beautiful; to build a unified design system supporting our digital products with proven and defined principles in addition to reusable patterns and components.

You'll be part of a larger experience design studio across the UK and Denmark, working alongside our organisational owners, service designers, interaction designers, qual & quant researchers, engineering teams, and more.
You will be based in our Design System Team in Copenhagen, where you will work together with our UX Design Lead, Visual Lead, Technical Lead, Front End Engineers, Product Owner and other stakeholders in the organisation.
You will design state of the art UI components, interaction standards, layouts and create design guidelines to support the wider design and development communities within Maersk.
You will work across our digital products and collaborate with various product teams to ensure a design system that is based not only on UX best practices, but also on real world business contexts and user needs. You will be part of design thinking workshops and presenting our work to a wider audience, help painting a picture of how the future could look like.

• 3+ years of practical experience in delivering strong digital UI experiences
• Strong user-centric mindset and approach to design
• Ability to translate research findings into a design strategy or UI design
• Have experience in providing affordance through motion design
• Good at visualising and communicating your solutions to stakeholders
• Working structured with the tasks at hand and deliver in line with the expectations set
• Have experience working in an agile team is a plus
• Believe in an evidence-based, continuous improvement culture
• Be happy in an environment that is undergoing large change.
