At Maersk, we are transforming to become the global integrator of container logistics- connecting and simplifying our customers’ supply chains. The Technology Group is critical to realising the company strategy. We plan on significantly enhancing our Technology capabilities and are implementing a new technology architecture led through Platform Operating Model. The Cloud Engineering Unit within the Technology Group is accountable for end to end delivery of Service Reliability, Availability, Performance, Cost and Fit for Purpose solutions there by enabling the Platform Operating Model.
Key Responsibilities
- (Initially) crafting the user experience for our cloud management platform
- Work closely with product owners and product managers to enable the transformation of ideas into desirable outcomes for our users.
- analyse and translate user, business, and technical requirements into coherent digital experiences.
- Own UX projects from start to finish. From the creation of journey maps and personas to the sketching, wireframing and prototyping of the end-to-end journey and finally applying the visual finish.
- Work closely with other designers, UX researchers, engineers, product managers, data analysts and business stakeholders to explore, build and deliver your designs.
- Participate in and facilitate design-thinking workshops.
- Own and support the evolution of the Design System, ensuring that it remains our ‘single source of UX truth’ for our digital estate.
- Proactively monitor the performance of UX output, ensuring that the product backlog is supported by data-driven design decisions.

We are looking for
- Minimum 3 years commercial UX design experience with a proven track record in delivering complex projects in a pragmatic and collaborative manner.
- A strong, well-curated portfolio, showcasing both your interaction and visual design skills.
- A passion for solving product problems while balancing all facets of a user experience (strategy and research, information architecture, interaction design)
- A good understanding of the end-to-end iterative design process including how to develop and use design research, journey mapping, wire-framing, prototyping, and user testing to achieve human-centred design solutions.
- A creative flair for applying the visual finish to final designs.
- A proficiency in interaction design for native mobile and web applications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to articulate, practise and promote the Design Thinking process and user-centric design approach across the organisation.
- Proficiency with current industry design and collaboration tools such as Figma, Sketch, Storybook, Adobe XD, Invision etc.
- Experience working in an agile development process and/or Iterative UX environment – and an environment that is undergoing large change.
- A high-level understanding of front-end technologies and the opportunities they present in delivering a world-class user experience.
