About the job
We at Saxo Bank have great ambitions to democratize trading and investing across the globe and scaling up it our development teams in Copenhagen. Your role will be to work on one of our Agile feature teams as a senior front-end developer working the latest JavaScript technologies such as React, Redux, React Native and Electron.
You will work closely with product managers, UX designers and fellow front and backend developers, constructing everything from prototypes to feature rich main modules of our platforms.
Our feature teams work cross components and modules focusing on delivering the right features at the right time to enrich our platforms and the costumer experience. To achieve that they work closely with our business stakeholders to break down the user journeys and business needs into smaller quickly releasable features using CI/CD processes.
The feature teams are enabled by out framework teams (UI, Server, native, Sitecore) that create the building blocks for them to use the feature team can focus on business logic and achieving the right customer experience
Required skills
General experience
- 5+ years within software development teams
- Prior business knowledge or willingness to learn quickly about the financial industry, preferably electronic trading
Technology
- Passion for front end development and a nice portfolio to document it
- Experience with modern frameworks such as React and Redux
- Familiarity with mobile first development and responsive design
- Experience with CSS pre-processors and object-oriented CSS principles
People and processes
- Creative self-starter with great team and cross-group collaboration skills
- Experience creating documentation and well-commented code
Desirable Skills
Technology
- Experience in mobile/tablet/desktop development, across multiple platforms (Win/OSX/iOS/Android)
- Experience with complex JavaScript applications
- Experience Styled Components and new trends in CSS styling
- Experience working with C# and .Net
- Experience working with Azure DevOps
- Experience with Cypress, Webpack / Babel
General experience
- Active in the community through open source, conferences and social media
