We’re on a crazy growth journey and we were recently confirmed as the fastest-growing company in Denmark during the last four years. Last year we welcomed more than 80 people to Hobbii, and since the beginning of 2020, we have hired 80 more.
We are a team of driven entrepreneurs building the next generation of headless eCommerce - serving around a million orders a year, delivered all over the world. Besides Hobbii, you will be part of an ambitious group of 3 fast-growing eCommerce companies.
We are looking for a social, driven, and solutions-oriented teammate who can help us take our customer experience to the next level by building our first Android app from scratch. Our tech department is at the heart of our companies and we are looking for someone who is eager to develop and challenge themselves in a growing scaleup. We’re in an incredibly exciting stage where you can really come in and make a difference together with an ambitious and fun team.

You get excited by:
- Helping us to build a great omni-channel experience for our customers
- Building a new native app from scratch
- To take an essential part in taking the customer experience to the next level!
The nitty-gritty skills needed:
- Multi year experience in building native apps for Android
- Fluency in the Kotlin programming language
- Version control (we’re using Git and we hope you are too)
- Experience with automated testing and Continuous Integration
- Experience with Restful APIs and integrations with third-party tools
- You have a good sense of what looks good (and what doesn't!)
- Experience with publishing and updating apps on the Google Play Store
- Great communication skills
