Lead projects from the first idea to final hand over to the client
As Test Manager your overall focus is to qualify the value of the solutions to our clients from initiation to final implementation. You will assemble teams of specialist consultants and lead the way in close dialogue with our clients. The methodology covers both waterfall and agile development, meaning you can work with both approaches when planning the testing. The projects vary in length and can last between 3 weeks to several years dependent on project size and project phase. Your primary tasks will be to:
- Create test plans and manage the on-going follow ups on the testing activities and as well the risk evaluation
- Assemble testing teams and allocate resources
- Estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources and budget required to perform the testing
- Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per standards defined by the organization
- Track and prepare the report of testing activities like test execution results, test case coverage, defects discovered and their status, performance baselines etc.
- Be Truly Human, lead and motivate your team members who can be working locally or from other Accenture offices across the world
- Handle dialogue with the clients – nurture a room of mutual trust and respect
- Serve as a liaison between Software Engineering and the business community
Your base will be our office in Carlsberg Byen, Copenhagen but most of your time you will work as part of project teams at our clients’ office. Qualifications
Experienced Tester and Test Manager in IT/technology projects
To succeed in this role, you must like to take and be the one people are looking at when there is a problem at hand. This calls for your positive belief in that there always is a solution to a problem and your ability to bring this optimistic perspective to your team. This calls for your good interpersonal and communication skills. With respect and care of your team members you can explain the “Why, What, Who and When”. Well, you must naturally also have the Think/Act personality it takes to come up with a solution when necessary. Additionally, your CV comprises:
- A Master’s degree in e.g. IT, Engineering, Technology or Economics
- Fluent in English and one of the Scandinavian languages (Danish Swedish, Norwegian), written and spoken
- Experience into Automation tools like Selenium, Leapwork, Postman, automated API or Tosca Automation will be an advantage
- 3-5 years of relevant testing experience
- Certified in ISEB or ISTQB, Tricentis Tosca or similar will be an advantage
- If you are familiar with a programming language it could be an advantage
