Due to our growth, we are looking for a Software Test Engineer to join our Analytics team.
As our new Software Test Engineer, you will be part of a fast-growing, international software development team in Stilling. In the position you will have direct reference to our Product Owner & People Manager and be a part of a team who works according to the scrum methodology in a tight-knit department of around 40 team players consisting of Software Developers, Data Scientists, UX Designers and QA Engineers from both Spain and Denmark. We believe in an integrated approach, where every team member is involved in all steps of the software development lifecycle. We are a highly collaborative team, and you will work as an integrated part of a scrum team with a close relation to other testers in the organization too.
A job with focus on Quality Assurance
In the job as Software Test Engineer, you will become a central player in obtaining high quality of our solutions. Your primary role is to secure the quality of the deliveries of the development team, by providing valuable input and sparring based on testing. We strive to improve ourselves and our processes continually, and you will be involved in both manual and automation testing tasks with the focus on contributing to our automation coverage growth, so that we can succeed in mastering continuous delivery.
More specifically, your primary responsibilities will be to:

We are looking for a technical enthusiast who thrives by diving into details and exploring potential weaknesses in our products and coding. You would describe yourself as structured and proactive, customer-oriented, and curious. You act as a trustworthy business partner who gets innovative ideas and seeks new ways of working so we discover new optimization opportunities.
You must have a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or similar and have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience from a similar position where you have worked with QA processes. Having experience with agile frameworks is also valued. You pride yourself with staying updated on the latest technologies and best practices and have some experience or knowledge about these tools and technologies:
The position requires that you are fluent in English, both spoken and written.

- Ensure test case design together with the QA and development teams and make sure our testing techniques follow the proper testing foundation
- Identify bugs and report it by using tracking systems and collaborate with the development team for a timely resolution
- Integrate CI/CD test automation scripts into the pipelines of builds and deployments
- Execute, report, and document tests which include providing test execution reports, communicating issues to the team promptly and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Ensure continuously QA process improvements by improving practices within the organization, and engaging in ongoing learning and self-improvement
