We are looking for a senior frontend programmer, who would like to take the role as Frontend Architect in an organization that creates innovative and business supporting digital marketing solutions.
Your primary area of responsibility is to develop and govern our frontend architecture for both our Sitecore based web-platforms and our Azure based widget delivery system. You will develop develop solutions on a multitude of different platforms and be the key sparring partner for your colleagues in Sales and Marketing and the bridge between frontend and backend on our major web-platforms?

In your new job, you will be a part of our Frontend Architecture and Development team. We are a part of Global Marketing, which consists of more than 100 highly dedicated and skilled colleagues. We support our Hearing Instruments Group, Business units and our sales companies worldwide with both sales and marketing materials and a portfolio of different digital solutions.

You will design and develop solutions and take active part in the maintenance and optimization of our digital solutions. You will be sparring with your colleagues, both when you challenge and elaborate on the needs and wishes from your internal clients and when you create the final solution.
Other key tasks will be to
- establish and govern Frontend Architecture for the Demant web solutions
- develop early stage frontend programming through React using HTML, CSS and Javascript
- being a trusted advisor for the business units regarding digital development projects
- take an active role in the integration projects that involve PIM, DAM and other relevant systems
- ensure code quality and best practices in programming methods across projects and teams
- drive the community of Demant frontend developers around the world
- work with Global IT to secure a safe and stable architecture for our digital solutions
Strong frontend skills
There are several ways into this position, and we are open to applicants with different educational backgrounds. However, it is an advantage if you have a degree from e.g. Computer Science or similar and it is a must to have 5-10 years of frontend programming and development experience. In other words, you’ve seen it all.
Furthermore, you should be familiar with working within a large scale organization and thrive in the crossing between IT and Marketing. You are similarly familiar with various Javascript frameworks and libraries, peer-review processes and Azure Devops.
On the personal level you have a passion for the process involved in turning concepts and ideas into scalable solutions that gives a good user experience on a solid technical foundation. You are a highly skilled problem solver and love whiteboard sessions and find Pair-programming and peer-review useful and motivating.
