SonicEdge is changing the way people hear with a new type of speaker offering superior audio in a smaller size driving a revolution in the world of audio from earphones to high end in-ear systems.

As a Director of HW you will be responsible for leading the internal and external hardware activities of the company which include architecture and design of the extremely power-efficient ASIC driving the novel MEMS-speaker.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the electronics HW activities in the company, located in Denmark and Israel
• Collaborate with product managers to exceed customer expectations
• Lead design reviews across all electronic R&D activity
• Be part of the management team
• Define and improve R&D processes across all HW disciplines

Skills & Requirements:

• Electronics Engineering degree or equivalent
• At least 5 years proven experience of leading a HW group resulting in at least one successful mixed signal ASIC in silicon
• Knowledge and experience of class D amplifiers
• Management skills and capabilities, and a team player
• Deep familiarity of HW and ASIC development process
• Experience in noise shaping algorithms (e.g. sigma delta)
• Ability to understand system level design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
