Scandclean is currently seeking an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to support the Housekeeping Manager who lead the Housekeeping team in a sustainably-run hotel in Copenhagen. The chosen candidate must be a natural leader with a passion for service excellence to supervise a highly dedicated housekeeping team.
in cooperation with the Housekeeping Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient running of the housekeeping department in line with Scandclean strategies and standards, whilst meeting colleagues, guest and owner expectations.
You must ensure that all guest rooms and public areas of the hotel are clean and in good repair.
You create an engaging work environment for colleagues, and it is as important as guest satisfaction. Your leadership skills as Housekeeping Supervisor will inspire your team – not only to ensure an exceptional guest experience - but also to grow their careers with Scandclean.

Job Overview
This position involves the following duties in the Housekeeping department:
- Organize, plan and supervise cleaning activities in rooms and public areas
- Verify guest room status is communicated to the Front Desk in a timely and efficient manner
- Verify and request maintenance in rooms and public areas
- Creating weekly schedule
- Schedule rooms and cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage
- Clear information and updates for employees on time
- Hire, train and coach employees
- Inspects guest rooms on a daily basis
- Setup conference rooms and events
- Control and manage pool area
- Control and manage lost and found
- Control inventory to verify adequate supplies
- Control budgets and costs
- Manages payroll together with Operational Manager of Housekeeping
- Acts as Manager on Duty when required
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements Education & Experience
- Minimum High School education, post-high school education preferred
- Ideally you have minimum 2 years work experience as Housekeeper and Assistant Housekeeping Manager in larger operation.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to meet expectations of guests and team members
- Excellent time management skills
- Basic math skills
- Knowledge of MS Office and Hotel Systems
