People Business Partnering, Corporate Functions

Join our Corporate Functions HR Team as HR Business Partner for Global Finance (GF) and Global Legal & Compliance (GLC). You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that GF and GLC structure, capabilities and culture support the Finance and Legal & Compliance and LEO corporate strategy. You will also take part in the journey of increasing the business value of HR by ensuring that HR/People Business Partnering become more efficient through the implementation of global processes and systems such as SuccessFactors.

As part of the functional Leadership Teams, you will help building our capabilities even further in both areas, while at the same time ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in the activities related to the operating model.

The position

You will be acting as HR expert, advisor and business partner and drive both strategic and operational discussions on topics like organisational, team and individual performance, organisational design, leadership, people development and employee experience.

As part of the HR-team, you will be tasked with contributing to the development and implementation of cross-functional initiatives.

Your primary tasks will be to:

  • Work as a business sparring partner for GF and GLC leadership members and managers to ensure that the organisational capability (tools, processes, culture/competencies and structure) matches the current and the future business needs
  • Consult GF and GLC Leadership Team members and managers, develop and execute required and agreed activities that support individual and team high performance, retention and engagement and an overall strong employee experience
  • Support the GF and GLC Leadership Team members and managers on operational and tactical level in implementing the HR Annual Wheel processes e.g. recruitments, redundancies, rewards, development, talent management, succession planning etc. in strong collaboration with Global People Shared Services and Center of Expertise (CoEs).
  • Ensure that global HR processes and programs are successfully deployed and implemented in close collaboration with the CoEs and Global People Shared Services. Based on facts and insights, provide input to CoEs/Global People Shared Services to optimize and streamline HR processes.
  • Build a strong network with CoEs, Shared Services and HRBP community to facilitate that projects are rolled out properly in Denmark and different countries that GF and/or GLC employees are located in.
  • Utilize external and internal HR and pharma data and trends to proactively identify any relevant challenges/areas to develop further and consult the GF and GLC Leadership Team members and managers accordingly.

You will be part of a team of 4 HR professionals, in the Corporate Functions, People Business Partnering Team. You will report to the Head of HR Business Partnering, Corporate Functions, Jan Fledelius Oddershede and be based at the LEO Pharma offices in Ballerup.

You will be successful in this role if:

  • You have a minimum of 10+ years of progressive HR career with 5+ of HR Business Partnering experience, working in a global organization and a bachelor degree
  • You have solid HR technical expertise in all HR areas
  • You have experience and a successful track record in building new capabilities in an organisation, as well as supporting organisational transformations through effective change management activities
  • You work with an analytical, structured and proactive approach and you are solution focused.
  • In combination with your strategic and business understanding, and conceptual skills, you can turn complicated challenges into smart and practical outcomes and translate the big picture into operational practical action plans
  • Your communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills enable you to build strong relations and trust to a great number of stakeholders of all levels in a matrix organisation
  • You have the courage to address difficult issues and stand your ground on the right advisory, but also to stand and support the implementation of a decision when this is made
  • You want to have an impact going the extra mile and be hands on where needed to support the business and your team
  • You speak and write English fluently and you build with ease trustful relations across cultural, professional and geographical distances
  • Danish language and experience in Finance, Legal and Compliance and/or in life science industry is an asset
