R & D plays a pivotal role on all 2030 LEO Pharma key aims; 1) Delivering double-digit growth, 2) Launching an innovative product every 2–3 years, 3) Pioneering first-in-class and best-in-class therapies, 4) Building a leading portfolio and 5) Ranking as a top-five company within medical dermatology.

You will act as an important driver in this transformational journey, being the trusted HR partner for the following departments: Research and Early Development, Science and Tech Hub in Boston, Programme and Portfolio Leadership, Business Excellence and Data & Analytics areas.

You will be part of the business-oriented, Global Research and Development (GRD) People Business Partnering Team, which consists of 4 HR professionals. Trust and care, collaboration, continuous learning, and high impact are our key values.

You will report to the R & D Head of HR Business Partnering, Rebecca Vasileiou Chondrolidou and be based at the LEO Pharma offices in Ballerup.

The primary tasks

  • Act as a trusted business partner for senior leadership members and managers, ensuring that the organisational capability (tools, processes, culture/ competencies, and structure) enable the achievement of current and the future R & D goals

  • Interpret external and internal HR and pharma industry related data and trends, to proactively identify relevant opportunities/challenges and consult the Leadership Team members and managers accordingly

  • Design and facilitate team workshops, coach teams and individuals, to support high performance, retention, engagement, and an overall strong employee experience

  • Advise and guide the leaders in implementing the HR Annual Wheel processes at operational and tactical level e.g. recruitments, performance management, salary reviews etc. in strong collaboration with Global People Shared Services and Center of Expertise (CoEs).

  • Contribute and/or lead the development and implementation of cross R & D and cross functional initiatives and projects to support the overall R & D and HR strategies

We imagine you:

  • Have solid, strong experience as a business-oriented HR Partner, ideally in a multinational environment, and a bachelor’s degree

  • Are capable to translate the big picture and business strategy into actionable, impactful people and organization interventions in a proactive and solution focused way

  • Are technically solid in all HR areas and mainly in organization and people capabilities development, transformation, and change management and you have solid experience implementing key people processes

  • Have communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills, that enable you to build strong relation and trust to a great number of stakeholders of all levels in a matrix organization across cultural, professional, and geographical distances

  • Are courageous to address difficult issues and stand your ground on the right advisory, but also to stand and support the implementation of a decision when this is made

  • Speak and write English fluently

Danish language, danish employment laws knowledge and experience in R&D or in life science industry are an asset
