LEO Pharma is uniquely positioned to be a leader in medical dermatology due to its heritage in topical Dermatology and its expansion into Biodermatology. This role plays an important part in achieving that vision in the commercial Cluster North ANZ and to succeed we need to drive growth and engage and develop our people. Our pipeline and commercial operations are growing rapidly, and that is why we need you.
As a member of the Cluster Leadership Team you will help patients in UK, IE, Nordics and Australia/New Zealand, expanding the reach of current patient solutions as well as providing new ones.
You will play a pivotal role as a trusted HR business partner to the VP of Cluster North ANZ and work close with the leadership team in building the organisation and team ensuring that Cluster North ANZ can realise its goals and contribution to the LEO 2025 strategy as both a HR professional and a business leader. You will be a key driver of business-critical HR processes and deliverables across the Cluster North ANZ organisation.
During the past two years, Global People have initiated and implemented a number of strategic projects to support the LEO 2025 strategy. A natural part of this has been to commence the transformation into one global HR organisation and ensure that we can support the business in achieving the future strategic objectives. We are increasing the business value of our contribution and ensuring that Global People become more efficient through the implementation of global processes and systems.
Overall responsibility
As a member of People Europe+ leadership team and the Commercial Cluster Leadership team you will be responsible for supporting the organisation in achieving success for sales, growth and people engagement, partnering with the business to maximise organizational performance through people interventions and programmes and leading the cluster people team in delivering high value HR services to the Cluster.
Within the Cluster you will be responsible for providing tactical HR advice and coaching to the Cluster Vice President and Cluster leadership team and for supporting the achievement of cluster specific business objectives. This is done by enabling the organisation to handle internal and external changes and supporting and counselling on organisational development. You will ensure implementation and application of agreed upon global HR programs and policies and represent the needs of the business in the Global People community.
Your competencies
To succeed in the role, we require you have gained experience in senior leadership roles, have international experience of HR in a matrix setting and extensive understanding of UK legislation. Since LEO is on a HR transformation journey, experience of global HR transformation is an advantage.
You have a bachelor’s degree in business administration or similar and a minimum of 10 years HR experience or equivalent from working in a multicultural international organization You have CIPD qualification in level 5 or above You have solid HR technical expertise in all HR areas You use data for decision making and work with an analytical, systematic and proactive can-do approach In combination with your strategic and business understanding, commercial insight and conceptual skills you can turn complicated challenges into smart and practical outcomes Your excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills enable you to build strong relations and trust to a great number of stakeholders of all levels in a complex and diversified organization You have gained solid experience in managing change and acting as a change agent
Personally, we need you to be collaborative and results oriented with great analytical abilities, motivational skills and a cross functional mindset. Further you have the courage it takes to address difficult issues and stand your ground on the right advisory.
Reporting, location and travel
You will report to the Head of People Europe+, and be member of the People Europe+ leadership team. You will have a dotted reporting line to the VP of Cluster North ANZ and be part of the cluster leadership team. You will be located in the LEO Pharma UK office in Hurley.
Business travel as needed must be expected, primarily across the cluster countries, but also to other countries in Europe for business meetings.
