As HR Manager at Orphazyme you will join a dedicated team of professionals and become an important part of Orphazyme’s journey in the development of treatments for rare diseases with high unmet medical needs.
With direct report to the Chief People Officer you will be a key contributor to the development of Orphazyme’s HR function, and the realization of the HR department goals and deliverables. You will play a vital role in shaping and supporting an organizational culture that emphasizes care, courage, integrity and high performance. You will be engaged in solving both strategic and tactical HR matters and you will drive impact by supporting and guiding leaders across Orphazyme’s units in Denmark, Switzerland and the US. You will participate in various HR projects and on a daily basis you will solve a variety of tasks within the HR area.
Your main tasks are:
Your qualifications accommodate a HR generalistic approach and preferably you have experience within recuitment or with compensation and benefit management. You are familiar with supporting leaders on HR matters, and delivering HR information to the management. The HR Manager is an organisational key role where you will communicate and cooperate with both management and co-workers and your ability to act as a diplomatic and professional sparring partner and advisor is crucial.
You have a Master’s Degree within HR and a minimum of 2 years of experience working as an HR generalist in the life science industry, preferably with peaks in recruitment or global rewards. Or you work as a project manager or consultant in a top tier consultancy, preferably within the People & Organisation practice area. You are fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
You are a strong implementer with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills who knows how to commit to organisational and business matters.You are comfortable with multi-tasking, and with your action-oriented and problem-solving mindset you will get things done while also focusing on continous improvement. You are able to work independently, and you have a collaborative mindset and a positive and service-oriented attitude towards Orphazyme’s employees and stakeholders.

- Responsible for end-to-end recruitment policies and practices. This entails supporting leaders in their recruitment efforts from posting to hiring. You will assist with scheduling and conducting interviews, and will serve as liason to external recruitment agencies.
- Plan and facilitate onboarding activities for new hires, and partner with and support managers on employee matters.
- Assist in development and implementation of global HR policies and procedures. Contribute to timely HR updates to the organisation and responsible for HR administrative matters related to maintaining compliance with employment laws and regulations and recommended best practices.
- Assist with daily compensation and benefit management, and help with implementation of HR processes, e.g. employee surveys, performance and talent reviews, etc.
- Participate in cross functional projects, e.g. digitalization of HR services.
- Ongoing maintenance of knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies within the human resources field.
