We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner with a proven track record from a well developed and implemented HR Business Partnering setup. You will join a HR department, that are on a transformational journey, going from a local to an international and scaleable HR organization. For the right candidate, this will be an exciting challenge and opportunity for making your mark, gaining further personal and professional development. As a start you will be the Primary Functional HRBP for our Technology & Innovation organization (TEC), working together with another competent HRBP located in Søborg and our HRBP at country level located in the US. For the right candidate there will be an opportunity to gain even more responsibility covering more of the Terma business and value-chain.

Role and Responsibility
You will have a broad and deep role with both tactical/strategic- and operational focus and business impact. You will be the Primary Functional HRBP, meaning the primary contact for TECs SVP, that coordinates and aligns HRBP activities across regions/sites for the unit. A paramount part of the role is to ensure a holistic view across Terma, working strongly together with both HR colleges and different stakeholders across the organization (eg. SVPs/VPs from our business areas and the Primary Functional Senior HRBP for our CCO).

Your job will consist of HR Partnering related tasks, covering all HR people pipeline activities, while you will also be responsible for executing the global HR processes and activities within your area of responsibility.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Act as an integrated, accepted and value-adding member of a Leadership Team(s) (SVP and VPs) by delivering value in the development and implementation of the business strategy
  • Spar with and challenge the Leadership Team(s), with the intention to ensure professional and high-performing organizational development, leadership, change management, communication and organizational design in all transformation processes and people related issues
  • Be responsible for all HR matters on the tactical/strategical level when it comes to Organizational Transformations and processes for organizational changes – by both initiating change and transformations and by supporting these. You are to lead and facilitate org. development and org.design initiatives in a close collaboration with colleges from other cultures and business areas, where the management structures might be different and complex, and where collaboration across setups and culture are key to success together – you will play a paramount role making this happen
  • Lead the coordination and alignment on HRBP activities across borders for the unit(s), together with the HR Partner(s) at country/site level, and ensuring deployment and execution together with the country/site HRBP on aspects like: Tactical and strategic partnering across the unit, Global HR activities such as People and Org. Review, Successors, Strategic Workforce Forecast, TerMus and Employee Surveys and possible more operational activities across the People Pipeline such as IPE, Salary Reviews, TIP, recruitments, offboarding, etc. Not at least it is of key importance that you ensure knowledge sharing across borders, always with a holistic “One Terma/One HR” view
  • Be responsible for the entire Recruitment process – primary Specialist/Manager level and above
  • Be the HR Legal sparring partner on people matters for the dedicated unit(s)
  • Be a possible dedicated project member in specific, relevant and strategical global HR projects like our upcoming strategical initiative on “Terma Leadership Program”


Desired Skills & Experience
You have a well-developed HR Business Partnering toolbox in place, most likely having worked approx. 5 years at HR Partner level, acting with strong business value. You know how to translate business objectives into high-performing HR Business Partnering behavior and results.

With your personality and skills, you win trust and respect across our organization. Besides being a skilled relationship builder, you are solution oriented with a high drive. You take responsibility and executes efficiently and effectively. Moreover, you can navigate in a complex high-tech world and stakeholder landscape, and you are not afraid of taking a stand – always in a constructive, humble way.

You are a team player that exhibits a high degree of personal integrity, and who naturally take a shared responsibility in your primary team - our HR Team. Continuously you strive to become even better through your deep self-insight, and you possess a humble will and ability to develop into a Senior position.

In addition to this, we expect you to have a:

  • Proven track-record from HR Partnering roles, preferably within international R&D organizations – experience with the US business and culture and different parts of the value-chain is an advantage
  • Relevant academic background at BA level as a minimum combined with solid business know-how and strategic understanding
  • Concrete experience with both initiating and supporting organizational change and transformations –including a compelling set of competences around organizational design and development, change management, communication and stakeholder management
  • Experience from leading and facilitating organizational development processes across cultures and business areas, where collaboration across value-chain setups and cultures have been key
  • Strong HR Partnering toolbox – Employment law, Hogan, DISC and Mercer IPE certification are all strongly preferred, while coach certification and relevant HR Business Partnering courses is a plus
  • Passioned, yet grounded winning attitude and agile mindset, acting objectively and focused on diverse levels, always being loyal to the HR agenda and what serves Terma the best
  • Keen interest and natural flair for HR cross functional collaboration and knowledge sharing
