Strong team sense
As Compensation & Benefit Manager, you will become part of the HR Core Deliveries department in HR. This function supports the organizations leaders and employees in all core HR processes including HR Policies, Payroll, Mobility, Employer Branding, Recruitment and providing HR data analysis and reports to management. Core Deliveries is also responsible for the global implementation and support of our HR system, SuccessFactors.
HR Core Deliveries is part of Demant’s HR function, where we are around 40 colleagues who support an array of Demant’s brands and work closely together with a global network of HR professionals in Demant entities around the world.
The environment is informal, and you will find positive minded and collaborative colleagues in HR and all around the entire business.
Responsibilities
As Compensation & Benefit Manager you will manage both internal and external stakeholders, and you will collaborate with HR Business Partners, Recruitment, Payroll and Mobility and not least with managers on all level in the organization.
You will have the opportunity to lead a network of colleagues around the world to coordinate efforts within the area of Compensation & Benefit.
The main responsibility of the role is:
- Build and maintain a Job Structure/Career Framework for Demant together with colleagues around the world
- Developing and implementing a renewed Demant Total compensation proposition and a Compensations & Benefit Policy
- Managing the annual salary regulation process (preparation, communication, execution, calibration, reporting)
- Perform external and internal salary benchmarks (both on personal and group level projects) upon request from managers, recruiters and HR business partners
Together with our legal department you will also manage our employee share schemes.
The position does not include direct people management. However, you will play an integral role in establishing and driving a global network of experienced C&B colleagues acting as a trusted advisor on C&B related matters to executive management in Demant.
What does it take?
Ideally you hold a BSc or MSc degree and have at least five years of practical experience within international Compensation and Benefits at all levels. It is a clear advantage if you have experience in working with job evaluation and job structure systems.
We look for you who are able to strike the balance between applying a strong conceptual approach to the development of procedures and policies and a hands on approach to the execution of tasks such as salary regulation, salary benchmarks etc. You are an expert in using the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
To succeed you should be able to balance policy rigidness and pragmatism as you are the one to take final decisions on C&B matters together with HR colleagues and managers.
We expect you to be fluent in Danish and English, as English is the corporate language.
