Senior HR Business Partner to NREP – Copenhagen


Newly established role with exposure to senior management, and with the opportunity to shape the role and set the agenda for HR Partnering deliverables in an unconventional, dynamic and purpose-driven real estate company. Though HR Partnering is fairly new to the business, they are eager to get a trusted advisor to support them in executing an ambitious growth and expansion strategy. There will also be HR support from HR Operations, HR Development, and Talent Acquisition, allowing the role time to support with strategic business-related issues.

As Senior HR Business Partner, you will work internationally supporting 2 of NREP’s business lines, where you will be a natural part of their management teams and strategic business meetings. You will have HR Partner colleagues across the countries, where NREP is represented. While being primarily focused on supporting your business lines, you will also, at times, be involved in local issues that span across other business lines; this will only be as a support to your colleagues.

Because HR Partnering is newly established, you will be able to set the agenda for what your role should represent and deliver and play a key role in ensuring the continued success of NREP as a powerhouse of brilliant and caring people. This will happen with a strong HR-team to support you, and you will have time to challenge, develop and support your business lines in securing the People agenda.

You will report directly to the HR Director, join a growing HR-team, and have a dotted line to the Business Directors. You will work out of NREP’s headquarters in Copenhagen and will of course enjoy the needed flexibility to make your working conditions ideal. Supporting an international and expanding business, you will need to travel approx. 20-30 days yearly.

Your job


As Senior HR Business Partner, you will work closely with the management teams in your two business lines, with a total of approx. 200 people and 30 managers. They are looking forward to your support in promoting a people agenda with attention to talent management, strategic workforce planning, team development, and performance management. You can expect to be actively involved in facilitating workshops, coaching support, and succession management. What you get yourself involved in depends on your skills and interest, but what we can promise, is a role with a strong business outlook, and where HR is a natural part of the business’ decision-making about strategic plans.

Your profile and ambitions

As an ideal candidate, you possess a maturity and resilience that make you an excellent sparring partner about any kind of problem that your managers meet. You have a natural understanding for business issues and understand what it takes to work with highly skilled and knowledgeable specialists and managers. Hopefully, you have some experience from working with organizations that need scalability, structure, tools, and support in balancing Business and People. In your work, you easily navigate between various cultures, backgrounds, and interests, and you can release people’s potential and ambitions. And of course, you are passionate about building a professional HR business together with your colleagues and stakeholders.

Your skills and experience


Professionally, you have experience with HR Partnering, and where you have supported Senior Management and Managers with executing their business and people agenda. In your work, you have worked with most parts of the HR processes such as organizational changes, performance management, leadership development, people review, succession planning and performance management. Additionally, you have a sufficient insight in the Danish legislation concerning legal people matters.

To support your methodology and structure, you have some academic credentials and distinct project management skills. Because you will collaborate with both the Danish office and internationally, you speak both Danish and English and have experience from working in a Nordic or international set-up.
