HR Generalist
About the job
sanofi is seeking a HR Generalist in the Nordics. You will have the responsibility to work with the Country coordinating team to provide HR expertise in supporting the business and having the overall HR responsibility of the local affiliate.
This is a permanent role, with limited travel
Relevant location could be Denmark, Sweden, Finland or Norway.
Main responsibilities
- Translate local GBU/GF business needs into HR priorities and contribute to the local HR roadmap
- Advise business leaders on people-related issues, applying HR knowledge, skills and practices, assessing and alerting on the risks and implications at the local level
- Address and manage employee and Company-related issues in full compliance with local labour law and legal regulations, and Company code of ethics. Advise business leaders accordingly to implement corrective action where necessary
- Support the business in key HR processes on a need basis (e.g. talent, salary reviews, recruitment, development)
- Working in collaboration with HR shared Services, provide input on topics which has an impact on employees or employment relationship (e.g. taxes, company bonus program, car fleet, health and wellbeing etc.)
- Partner with CoE to identify continuous improvement opportunities for program and policies to address local needs
- Demonstrate Company’s culture and values. Contribute to the cultural transformation through new ways of working
- Together with business leaders serve as a change agent for the organization through supporting, promoting, leading changes and contribute to the cultural transformation through new ways of working
- Ensure HSE roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and understood across the organization
- Support employees and managers in HSE culture and policy implementations and follow up. Identifying and correcting unsafe conditions or behaviors, communicating Immediately any dangerous situation
About you
- Ability to understand and advise on HR processes, functional areas, policies, local HR practices, procedures, and compliance efforts
- Demonstrate advisory capabilities with ability to influence and facilitate change
- Ability to facilitate and build relationships, adapting communication style to meet the needs of the business while being result-driven
- Experience from working independently in similar role in a global matrix organization with focus on country responsibilities, pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus
- Analytical skills with the ability to capture and interpret relevant data for the business
- University Degree in HR/Administration/Communication or another relevant background. Experience could compensate for education
- Fluent in English oral and written and a Scandinavian language
