You will join our HR Centre of Excellence

As our new Legal Senior Manager, you will be part of the HR Centre of Excellence and you will report directly to the Senior Group HR Director. You will monitor the employment law area globally and work closely with the Global HR Director on highlighting compliance requirements and general legal duty of care towards employees. As a Legal Senior Manager, you will be partnering on executive contracts and remuneration terms and be supervising legal compliance in the countries where Ramboll operates. The role plays an important part in M&As and also manages the contractual terms for employee share schemes.

As the Legal Senior Manager, you will work with countries and markets to ensure legal compliance in the employee field through collaboration with local legal advisors and HR Directors. Ramboll is a company with high ethical standards and strong values, so you must ensure that the right policies and practices are in place. You will work closely with compliance, Corporate Secretary, Legal & Commercial departments and geographical and market entities.

Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

  • Ensure that Ramboll’s strategic outlook is supported by healthy and compliant legal employment practices in markets and countries
  • Work closely together with the global HR organization to ensure planning and implementation of legal requirements
  • Align and update Global HR policies and drive local adaption and addendums as needed
  • Supervise the compliance on GDPR and other global legislations
  • Drive audit compliance and mitigation actions
  • Ensure compliance with country specific HR requirements and handle escalations
  • Act as Global HRs legal one point of contact and solve concrete employment matters
  • Support the due diligence and post-merger legal M&A activities ensuring an effective process and tackling of alignment challenges in M&As
  • Prepare and present complex legal topics as needed and provide strong solutions in an international and complex business context
  • Ensure that diversity and inclusion is an integrated part of people processes and solutions
  • Manage global vendor contracts in HR
  • Take responsibility for the effectiveness of Ramboll HR impact through collaboration with all parts of the organization
  • Prepare and present complex legal topics as needed and provide strong experience and solution mindset in an international and complex business
  • Maintain a close relationship with a network of internal and external stakeholders, including the appropriate local industry bodies and consultative forums

  • A relevant Master’s degree, or relevant qualification
  • A minimum 5- 7 years of experience working at the level of a Legal Senior Manager within Human Resources
  • Strong business acumen in an international environment

  • Professionally in the top of your peer group, with strong communication and liaison skills, fluent in English, written and spoken
  • Analytical and fast thinking – able to evaluate and analyse
