Our customer is a successful and fast-growing design company with products that make a difference to customers around the world. With focus on innovation, design and very strong selling points, the company has established a unique position with partners around the world.

International distribution expansion, supply chain efficiency and short lead time have been central elements in the development of the company as a profitable and scalable business.

The company, located in Copenhagen, is now looking for a CEO, reporting to the chairman of the board.

The coming CEO must have international experience and fit into a culture of excellence and dedication. Your mission is to transform the company from entrepreneurship to leadership, and to exploit the untapped potential of the brand internationally. For the right candidate, this is an exciting position with significant opportunities!

THE POSITION

As the coming CEO, you will be responsible for taking the company to the next level on an international growth journey. The current and expected growth rates for the products of the company are very high.

Your excellent skills in defining and executing growth strategies will be a point of difference, separating you from other candidates for this position. Understanding, and even more developing, the entire value chain of the company will be important for the new CEO.

The company has the goal to be a preferred brand in the future at leading retailers in its segment. The coming CEO should have the capability of bringing successful brands to their next level – candidates should know how to do this transformation from former positions at executive level. We prefer candidates that are futuristic in their mindset, with an understanding of business opportunities and trends.

You will get the responsibility that you want, according to your results and performance. You will work with a team of dedicated and competent colleagues, supported by the owners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop the company with a focus on executing strategy plans and reaching budgets.
  • Ensure that processes are always efficient and at the same time ensure scalability.
  • Develop and maintain highly motivated and competent employees.
  • Ensure exploitation of digitalization opportunities during the growth journey.
  • Ensure a strong and smooth cooperation with the owners and business partners.
  • Being a visible and motivating CEO, showing the way through leadership.
  • Maintain and expand partnerships with retailers internationally.

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS

  • A proven track record with excellent results from design, lifestyle, fashion or similar.
  • International experience in executing growth strategies.
  • Understanding the entire value chain in a lifestyle company.
  • P&L experience from international companies.
  • Highly skilled communicator at all levels, internally as well as externally.
  • Commercial mind-set at a high level and a skilled, proactive problem solver.
  • Relevant commercial education.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English and possibly other languages.

PERSONAL SKILLS

  • You have a mature, informal and calm personality.
  • You are highly competitive and you possess a strong personal drive.
  • You have an energetic ”can-do” attitude.
  • You exude natural authority and are a role model to people around you.
  • You have preferably experience working in private equity owned companies.
  • You are a proactive person who creates enthusiasm.
