A hugely exciting opportunity to provide generalist HR support to our fast growing Denmark site. This role will entail all encompassing HR generalist responsibilities for our Danish employees including talent management, employee relations, recognition, organisational development and L&D as well as supporting payroll and administration, while working closely in coordination with our global HR team.

- Resource Planning: Manage the recruitment cycle including assessing resource requirements, candidate sourcing, salary benchmarking, and supporting the management team with senior positions at interview and assessment stage, as appropriate. Proactively promote talent management and career development across the Group.
- Performance Management: Implement the company performance management process ensuring managers are competent in performance assessment and objective setting. Support succession planning and provide advice to manage talent and performance capability.
- Learning & Development: Carry out training needs analysis for employees and make recommendations for appropriate training interventions. Support training programmes as required. Ensure effective on boarding of new employees.
- Employee Relations: Provide advice and support on handling and resolving employee relations matters. Monitor and manage absence and occupational health issues. Take ownership of the maintenance and adherence to the Company Handbook.
- Organisational Development and Change: Support the development of LGC’s culture including promotion of company values and ensuring effective management of employee feedback. Ensure that team structures are fit for purpose and support managers to implement change.
- Recognition & Reward: Continually review and benchmark employee remuneration to ensure fair and competitive packages are available. Coach and support management in pay discussions and decisions retaining and attracting top talent.
- Payroll & administration: Manage payroll, benefits and employee administration for Denmark as we as any other duties as required by the business. Ensure that the Company ERP system is maintained and coordinate with Genomics global HR team members in operational processes.
- Projects: Participate in HR projects with other HR colleagues across Germany, UK and US from within the Genomics division as well as other divisions.
Qualifications/Knowledge/Experience
- Graduate calibre with appropriate professional qualification.
- Several years HR experience working within a demanding, competitive commercial environment.
- Up to date and well maintained knowledge of Danish employment law.
- Sound knowledge of Leading HR principles, practices and their application in meeting business requirements.
- Must be able to communicate clearly in English, in spoken and written form
