Do you enjoy dealing with people, and you're that person who knows what providing service really means? Then you might be our new HR Officer.

As HR Officer you will be the first point of contact for employees and managers when they have any business needs or questions about HR-related processes, policies or procedures.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Maintain operational tasks such as employment contracts, onboarding, personnel matters (e.g. sick leave, maternity and paternity leave etc.)
  • Ensure full administrative support to the organization
  • Help with employer branding activities and writing job ads
  • Have a close dialogue with our payroll department regarding input to salary and work conditions
  • Support employees and managers on holiday issues, personnel policies, and guidelines
  • Assist managers in personnel cases and interviews (recruitment, absence interviews, etc.)
  • Handle administrative tasks related to onboarding of new employees, background checks, and update relevant internal systems
  • Work on all day-to-day activities in the HR team

Your skills:

Your skills and competences are the key to our success. To succeed in this position, you are a person who can communicate easily, and build trust with your stakeholders. You are able to navigate across different cultures.

Ideally you are/have:

  • 3-5 years of experience in HR/administrative work in a dynamic and international organization
  • A relevant bachelor or master’s degree in HR, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Experience in working with Danish labour law and labour relations
  • Comfortable using data, when advising the leaders on organisational decisions
  • Familiar with operational HR such as termination, mobility, recruitment, and onboarding
  • Structured and able to prioritize the many incoming demands
  • Excellent command of Danish and English both written and spoken

As a person you are a team-player with a high level of integrity and able to establish professional and trust-relationships with colleagues in all levels of the organization. You have a good eye for details but can also look at things from a helicopter viewpoint, and identity what is best for the organization. You have a high energy level, and you work along multiple tracks at the same time.

You live within an acceptable travelling distance from Rødbyhavn or are willing to move there.

Conditions of employment:

This is a full-time post with accession as soon as possible.
