Maersk Cadet Administration & Recruitment, Svendborg is looking for a Talent Attraction Specialist with SoMe experience


We offer
An exciting position, where you will be playing a key role in recruiting candidates to the Danish Cadet program in Maersk and have an impact on developing our future seafaring colleagues.

You will be joining a small team of three dedicated colleagues in the Danish Cadet Administration based in Svendborg.

Key responsibilities


The focus of your job is to recruit cadets and junior engineers for Maersk’s container vessels.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Handling applicants/applications
  • Plan and conduct interviews/tests
  • Plan and conduct presentations for both recruitment purposes and cadet training
  • Arrange events and campaigns necessary to attract cadet and junior engineer candidates
  • Attend events/activities and meetings across Denmark – some travel must be anticipated
  • Develop recruitment strategies together with our service provider
  • Liaise and control agreements with service providers and advertising agencies
  • Update campaign material and manage Social Media accounts*

Furthermore, the position will include overall HR administration tasks such as:

  • Managing personnel systems
  • Update of cadet intranet
  • Assist various administrative tasks concerning cadets
  • Handle invoices, budget, and cost control

As a Recruitment Coordinator a day in the week may look like this:

08.00 – 16.00: Checking mails and manage applications – conduct interviews – arrange cadet ambassadors for a fair, prepare cadets for US visa applications

Or

06.00 – 17.00: On the road/participating in a fair with cadet ambassadors and creating content for social media

Or

08.00 – 16.00: Checking mails, online meeting with service provider, enroll cadets to e-learning courses, take part in a de-briefing meeting for cadets returning from sea

We are looking for


Our ideal candidate is a self-driven, resourceful person that can maintain a friendly, outgoing and professional relationship with cadets and candidates.

Our preferred candidate:

  • Understands Social Media dynamics and has experience with posting content on different social media platforms and creating media plans
  • Has experience with recruitment and/or HR
  • Has great organizational skills and finds that working as a team adds extra value

  • Can communicate fluently in verbal and written English and Danish
  • Holds a driver license
